2008 Acquisitive Art Award

Arts Wodonga present their annual acquisitive award, featuring contemporary works by artists from the district in a range of different media. The official opening and announcement will be on Friday, November 14th at 5.00pm

The Dogs’ Breakfast Group meets on the second Sunday of each month at Oddies Creek Park, next to Noreuil Park, from 10 am. Breakfast is a sausage sizzle at the park’s barbecue facilities (BYO everything), followed by an optional walk along the river. A gold coin donation benefits Albury Dog Rescue and the local RSPCA.
Face Painting, Trixie the CLown, Jumping Castle, Putting Practice, Closest to the Barrel Golf, Sausage Sizzle, Bowls Practice, Wine Tasting. Music by Zoot Suit Trio from 1.30 on the deck.

Murray Masters Golf Tournament
Details:
Enjoy five days of golf at four of the best courses along the Murray River with 90 of the best touring PGA professionals on the circuit in the 2008 Murray Masters. From 15th to 19th December this year the event will showcase Corowa Golf Club, Thurgoona Country Club Resort, Howlong Country Golf Club and SS&A Wodonga. Professionals will compete for prize money of $70,000.00, and, with a bonus of $100,000.00 for the one that can win three out of the four events (not to mention the hole in one prizes) we expect a very talented field to participate.
Enjoy the thrill of riding these 5' and 7 1/4' gauge miniature trains. Situated on the banks of the Wodonga creek this miniature railway ooperates ive steam and diesel model locomotives. Please Note: No trains will operate on days when the temperature is forecast to reach 38 degreesC or higher. 11am until 4pm

Australian Model Aircraft Championships
Details:
Over 250 participants from across the nation and nearby countries will compete in Albury for the Australian Model Aircraft Championships. Pilots will perform amazing aerobatic, combat, vintage and racing displays throughout several venues in Albury. Entries close on 30 November 2008.
